This was for a family friend's 80th birthday. I took the inspriation from various people here on CC but particularly "Lingin" wonderful hatbox cake so many thanks to all for your kind sharing of idea's. This was 8 inch stacked rounds of vanilla, lemon sponge filled with strawberry and buttercream. All the flowers are made of gumpaste and the cameo brooch at the front. TFL
