I was asked to make a cake for a surprise party that would reflect our friends collection of vehicles. My husband painted several Tonka cars and place them how they sit in the yard and driveway of this friend. I placed the cars on fondant since they were not food safe & discarded the fondant when it was time to slice & serve. Banana cake with buttercream frosting.
