This is a very sentimental cake for my clients. It was purchased to celebrate their parents 50th Anniversary. Every year for their Anniversary, the Mister gives his wife a different flower for every year they've been married. So for the 1st Anniversary, 1 flower. For the 49th, a bouquet consisting of 49 different varieties of flowers. Pretty cool tradition. So to celebrate the 50th, the children asked me to recreate the tradition in cake. All gumpaste flowers. I made some, ordered some, painted some... you get the idea. LOVE how it turned out and my client was beside herself.
