Made this for a friends daughter who is in the Billy Elliot Musical. They are on tour and are in my area and requested that I make the sweet 16 cake I was honored. Yellow cake with each layer being torted and filled with strawberry filling and fresh strawberries. Some roses are buttercream and others are cotton candy flavored meringue. On some of the white roses I petal dusted and then used edible silver for the edges. Gumpaste tiara (my first attempt) and buttercream leaves. Cake is covered with buttercream. "lace" at bottom of cake is fondant. TFL :)
