I did this cake for my daughters 1st birthday thanks to the inspiration from many CC users. 10 and 8 inch cakes covered in buttercream. Ladybug is a half of a ball pan covered in fondant. Her head is a fondant rolled into a ball. Her own smash cake to go along with the theme. This was my first time covering a cake with fondant and Im pretty pleased with the results.
