Okay - so I am now becoming the "go to" for last minute cakes. I'm about ready to holler at the next one that does it! I got a call this morning for a cake tomorrow at 6 - I work 8:30 to 5:00 at my "real" job!!! I told her I would do it only if she would take an 8" snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon buttercream. I made one yesterday for a family reunion and stuck it in the freezer because I wasn't sure I would have time later! I guess I'll have to make time now! She said that would be perfect and wanted something related to cross country. The school mascot is an eagle, so I came up with a running eagle (FBCT). My writing is wacky and I feel like I need to fill the space underneath the eagle, but my hubby says it looks just fine. For a WAY last minute cake I'd say it's just fine!!!! Plus, I'm one of those that continually thinks I need to add something more - then I end up screwing it up! TFL
