The cake didn't make the trip in one piece. I was able to salvage the top two layers. My bottles turned out great. I really let the bottles intimidate me but, in the end they weren't very hard at all. If anyone is thinking about trying them go for it. However, I would like to share that it was humid here yesterday and the bottles started to melt and the burnt surgar flavor did melt into the flavor layer of cake. So consider that if you are making one of these bottle cakes
