This was my second-ever attempt at working with fondant, and my first with gumpaste. I bought the fairy after the whole cake was made and got really lucky at finding something to match the colors I had used! I think I rolled the fondant a little too thin, but overall I was happy with the end result...the birthday girl loved it! This was a vanilla-almond-raspberry cream cheese pound cake, with a chocolate ganache and raspberry cream filling.
