Oops.....Critique subgroup member: Well I can't help but think what everyones teeth are going to look like. Make sure you get their pixs smiling! Anyway, your RI flowers are very well done! But I am wondering about the swirl, thinking there might be a better way to cover them....Hmmm not sure what tho. Anyway very nice.
Critique subgroup member: I love your flowers. Especially your apple blossoms. Icing smooth will showcase your flowers more but I too like a swirl effect on cupcakes. Use a larger tip like the open star tip 8B. It works great! They do make smaller ones than that but it does create a nice effect.
critique subgroup member: I agree with the others about the swirl. I am wondering if a fondant/ poured fondant would look nicer for displaying your flowers....or even a grass tip. Your flowers are very well done. What a sweet use of leftovers!
Critique Subgroup Member: I agree with the others about swirl and had also thought of a grass tip. I don't know if that would be too much texture, though, however that texture would be more "natural" for the flowers. You did a great job with the flowers. I was drawn to the violets first. They all have great shape and detail.
Critique group member: Very cute. I was going to say I don't really like black icing for the cupcakes, but then I read you were losing leftovers so that's okay :) Cute flowers. My only critique is that on some of the cupcakes there appears to be a break in the swirl. Try and keep it all one flowing swirl, if that makes sense :?
Critique Group Member: Great flowers; you did a nice job with the daisy which I can't seem to master; I would tend to agree with the black coloring, but since you're making good use of leftovers, it makes sense of course. The only change I would make is to ice the icing and not swirl it because I think it distracts from your beautiful flowers. Other than that, great cupcakes!! ;-D
Critique Group Member: I really like your flowers. I agree that your swirls could use a little help. It can be hard to keep the steady pressure needed to get around the cupcakes that many times.. using a bigger tip would be a way to help avoid that. I use the 1M to ice cupcakes and I also use a #12 round tip for a smoother lookinf swirl. I think that would have made a cleaner looking backdrop for the flowers, or fondant like was mentioned. Over all they are great though! Good job!
critique group member. I really like the 1 with the daisy on it, very pretty. I agree with everyone else about not using the swirl, it sorta makes the flowers disappear and they are so pretty. I would maybe just ice smooth or cover w/ fondant. Very nice job overall

Critque Group Member: That's a great way to use leftovers. You are doing so well. Your violet are so good. You have a nice edge on them.
