There a bit of a disaster story behind this cake but it did work out well in the end. Chocolate sponge covered in a thin layer of buttercream and chocolate ganache. Not the look I was after but what the heck everyone loved the cake.

Anything with that much chocolate cannot be called a disaster....looks wonderful to me! :)
