Yes bonjovibabe I have to thank Debbie Brown for showing me how to make this cake! I had a wonderfull day with her and the other classmates. I felt so proud walking out of there with this cake! THANKS DEBBIE!

What type of cake mix did you use for this cake, I just can't find the correct texture for my cakes. Great job.!!!!

I looked at all the cakes everyone did an awesome job.but i picked your cake because of the details . great job.i knew you would come in first place congratulations

I tried to make this cake, but it came out hard. Do you live in the United States? How many times you made the madeira cake? thanks!

hi Catita,the madeira cake came with the workshop , Personally Ialways use pound cake that will do too.I live in the Netherlands(I lived in the states for two years and left a year ago) and here we do have a very limited choice of cake mixes so most of the time I make cake from scratch.

I used Bakels and Renshaw fondant and the decorating of this cake took one day(without the baking, coloring and preparing buttercreme because that all came with the workshop)

I did not sell it but if I had I think it would have been close to 100 dollars there is for at least 40 dollars material in it I think,it was appprox.9 inches high and took 4 pounds of fondant and weighed a ton!
