My First Wedding Cake!
This is my first wedding cake and the reason I started learning how to decorate cakes. I had a goal to make my sister's wedding cake and I am so happy that everything I learned at my classes and on CC paid off! Carrot cake with buttercream frosting, handmade fondant pearls (560 of them...it took forever!), with satin ribbon and buttercream scrolls. I am hooked now...can't wait to make another wedding cake!

Yes, the flowers are real and I did the arrangement. I was able to get the frosting smooth using the Melvira method (the foam roller)...it works wonders!
