Thanks for all the comments. This was my first attempt at butterflies and I probably won't do them the same way again. They are rice paper with a thin layer of piping gel. They remained quite sticky and were difficult to cut out but they were a very important element for my client (the butterfiles had special meaning for them) so they had to go on.
