Strawberry Covered Devils Food Cake With Ganache
Idea from here. Not the best looking. Had to do this in 1.5 hours....barely enough time to bake and cool. Ganache did NOT have time to cool to be as thick as I would like before icing the layers. This would be a chocolate lovers dream...very rich. I wanted a gallon of milk after a bite. Strawberries were my favorite part. I made a Ganache and combined a fondue recipe that I love (using cinnamon, vanilla, and coffee). I think I would do this as a single layer cake next time due to the richness. Live a learn!

Beautiful Cake...I bet it would make a wonderful grooms cake.
I was thinking of the same thing for a groom's cake. I think some people have done that on this site. Even making 3 single layer ones and putting them on different height cake stands would be pretty.
