I made this as a gift for a friend's birthday on Sunday. She loves the color peach and said she hadn't ever had a "feminine" birthday cake before. I had a couple of problems with it along the way, but I think she will enjoy it. Thanks for looking!
I appreciate all of your nice comments. The lettering is royal letters, but they kept breaking! It was really a pain. I have done them before without trouble but I used a smaller tip this time. The leaves are using 352.
Thank you. You print out a font you like from the computer, pipe over it with royal icing and let it dry. Pick it up and place it on your cake. I found it works better for me to do it on parchment paper (vs. wax paper) It seemed to stick a little to wax paper and on this cake they all broke so I had to piece them together.
Thank you! I do it on paper first so that I can copy the font from the computer and not worry about messing it up. I think it was the wax paper that I had problems with (breaking) they just come right off of the parchment.
oops sorry, these are from course 3 I think! I mentioned course 2 above. I never got a chance to take course 3 because they cancelled it, but I already had the book!
Can't believe I didn't see this before...it's simply beautiful! Would you please tell me how you get the lettering to adhere to the fondant?-Thanks, and again, this is beautiful

Very pretty, I like this a lot! How do you do the lettering? On another cake you mentione the 'royal icing method', what is that exactly?

Oh Merissa!!! This is absolutey BEAUTIFUL.
Beautiful work Merissa, I use Royal icing for shell and piping on cakes. Writing can be done directly on the cake no need to do it on paper first.
