This is my version of the Womens Day magazine cover for June 2006. My client and her twin daughters were thrilled with the cake. I was please with this finished producted, but I hated every moment of creating it! Putting eyes and noses on teddy grahams is not my idea of Art. Oh well, ask what kind of cake before agreeing to do a cake is my lesson here. Your critique is greatly appreciated!
Oh, forgot to mention the "beach sand graham crackers crumbs" was added at the bottom of the cake after delivery for the finishing touch.
Very cute and so detailed. Must have taken alot of patience!
Just remember most artists have had to "commissions" that they did not like, in order to do the work they do enjoy. They're happy, and it's cute. Great job!
This looks really good! I have to make this cake next week too! is it really that much of a pain? eeeeek! LOL
You must have the patience of a saint to put those faces on those little bitty cookies!! Your cake looks great..just like the cover of the magazine.
I made it also. I liked it the only thing was that my slide made out of the airheads fell. If I would do it again I would us sugarpaste or fondant for the slide.
