using a 9x13 cake, cut in half long ways and stacked. totally iced in buttercream, the ladder was chocolate though.

coming from a family of firefighters.......LoVE this cake. Great job!
there was minimal carving. i trimmed the front at a slight angel, took a little off the top and then cut out an area for that recessed bit. apparently i left out alot of details, but, hey they weren't on my photo!!!

WHAT?? someone complained that you left out a lot of detail? Flog them! Cake Heretics! Your cakes is VERY detailed and VERY neat, you obviously took a great deal of time and put into it a great deal of effort. I have been looking at your photos today and I'm blown away!
