Dragon themed birthday cake for my awesome nephew. He requested a vanilla almond cake with vanilla almond icing. Tried Swiss Meringue Buttercream icing this time. It's got a light whipped cream like texture and is less sweet than my regular buttercream icing. Also good for structural integrity. Very yummy but I prefer my regular buttercream or creamcheese icing.
The dragon is completely edible with the exception of the wire frame. Body is made from white modelling chocolate and the wings are made from fruit roll ups.
