Elmo is very popular with my nieces and nephews on their second birthdays. Elmo's head, arms and legs are made of RKT, body is cake baked in the wondermold cake pan. Frosting is buttercream using the grass tip. Be sure to make the head at least one day ahead so that the RKT hold the correct shape. Eyes are pingpong balls and the nose is modeling chocolate. In the past I have used an orange pingpong ball for the nose but Elmo's nose is actually oblong so the modeling chocolate looks better. I love to see the look of joy on the kid's faces when the Elmo cake is brought into the room! This cake is actually very simple and takes very little time to make.
