The wedding cake was easy compared to the fire truck from hell. The bride and groom are gumpaste. She wanted the firetruck with the ladder extended and the groom in full turnout gear in the bucket. The bucket is actually a post it note holder covered in fondant and painted. The ladder is from a toy fire truck since it needed to hold so much weight. It is supported with 2 dowels painted and it has 2 dowels screwed into the ladder , sharpened and secured thru the cake into the cake board.
