Hooters

Hooters on Cake Central

Finally!! This was the cake I was planning on making for hubbys birthday on Oct. 13th.but my oven had different plans for me, so the element went out while in the middle of cooking his cake!! Just got it fixed yesterday eveningso I went ahead and made the cake for hubby. He loved it!! He had to call up all his buddies to come check it out. I just feel bad that he couldnt have it on his b-day. Sorrythe picture is not too good. This is my first time using MMF.It was a lot easier to work with then I thought it would be. I know that I need a lot more practice..but I had fun!! I free handed the hooters logo with edible markers.

this cake is so fun...my hubby would love it..i've been looking for a cake like this that wasn't naughty, (i have small kids), this would be perfect. .what size pans did you use? is it just the mini ball pans, or is it sitting on another cake? TIA

Thanks guys!! I have young children too and didn't want to do anything real naughty either. I used the regular sized sports ball pan and they are on top of a heart shaped cake. If you don't have a heart shaped pan you can just cut one out of a sheet cake. If you have anymore questions let me know.

Awesome! This would be a great cake to make for my group of friends. We all go to Hooters every Friday night for drinks and catching up. What size heart pan did you use?

That is a great cake. Finally found a cake that I can make with my kids around. If you don't mind I would like to use your idea. By the way, your freehand is very good.

Thank you everyone!! It makes me feel good that you like the idea and would like to make one. :D ....be sure to post some pics of it. ;-D

Thank you sooo much!! I used a 10" x 2" heart pan...though it could have used a bigger one. It was the only one I had on hand.
