Practice Spring Wedding Cake

I have been wanting to make a wedding cake just to see if I could get one to turn out decent. I had some extra buttercream icing so I decided to try it today & I think it turned out pretty well. I made a few boo boos so I will know what to do next time if I should ever have to make one. Please let me know what you think, good or bad! Thanks for all your help!

looks fantastic! Next time, you might want to back your ribbon with wax paper to prevent the grease soaking it. Terrific first wedding cake!

Thanks Kimberlina25 for your nice comment :) I did back the ribbon with wax paper - I ran a strip of double -sided tape down the middle of the ribbon & covered the entire back of the ribbon with wax paper. Maybe I should have put more tape on the back of the ribbon so the wax paper would stick more securely?

you can also iron the wax paper onto the ribbon- the wax will transfer onto the back and prevent the soak through- much easier than using tape :) The colors are very pretty :) It's a very simple, but elegant design :)
