i need a fondant glue that i can make from home. i need to attach a ribbon and bow to the side of my cake. thank you . love- sydney
ps. i will go to the store im just not going to order in online
One of the best and easiest is to take an empty Tylose jar and fill with water. Let rest overnigh and it's ready to use
Next, you can 'let down' a bit of fondant with water to a thin mud consistency.
Another option is to use melted white chocolate.
Take a pea size ball of fondant, drop it in 1/8 c. or so of water, let it sit. Once dissolved (or nearly so), it's fondant glue. You can do the same with gumpaste. To make it all happen faster, use warm water and warm fondant, put a lid on the container, and shake it.

Yup this is it. I use warm water and drop in a ball of fondant and let it dissolve. Works like a charm everytime as glue.
