Yes, you sure can. Just make sure you coat it in shortening, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then put it in a ziploc bag. Keep in a dry place until you need it. I have done this many many times even a week in advance. Good luck!

Sure! I make it sometime two or three weeks ahead. Rub it with a bit of vegetable shortening, seal in a zip-lock bag, then I place the bag in a plastic storage container. Never a problem!

you just need to add more powdered sugar. this will stiffen it up a bit.
