Storing Sugarshack Icing? Can It Be Left Out?
Decorating By kellertur Updated 21 Apr 2009 , 5:47pm by sugarshack
I have leftover Sugarshack icing and wondered if it can be left at room temperature (sealed) or does it have to be refrigerated?
I was under the impression from the video that it can be stored at room temp., but wanted to double check.
How long will it keep?
Thanks~
It will be fine for up to a week at room temp.
I do suggest you fz it in smallish containers if you will not use it by next weekend.
I'm sorry, but what does "fz" mean. (I'm not one to text, so I have no idea...)
Can it be frozen until I need it again? (A week?) The problem with making a full batch is not using it all at once.
Thanks.
Thanks~
Deb, we're coming your way next month to Boston to see...
"Dora, live"... (my kid finally wore me down...wish it was the "Wiggles" though)
We'll be back this summer for a longer trip... can't wait!
Have a great weekend!
By the way~ once Sugarshack icing "thaws", does the consistency change? Or can I just mix it up with a spatula and use as normal?
Thanks (I am loving Sugarshack icing!)

I have kept mine at room temp 2-3 weeks then I fridge/freeze.
it works fine after freezing; no changes.
HTH!
Thank you so much Sharon! You have made my (cake) life SOOO much easier and my work SO much better.
