Are you going to buy this EI? or make one?

They are not hard to apply. Just ice your cake.....are you using b/cream? If so as soon as you smooth it place the EI on it. You only get one chance to place it so be careful you put it exactly where you want it. There is a backing on either home-made & EIs that must be removed 1st. EIs can be fragile handle carefully, as little as possible. Once on the cake, smooth it w/your fingers/hand so there are no bubbles and it attaches to the icing. That's iticon_smile.gif

yes i am going to buy it and i will be using b/cream. so basically you just peal it off and stick it on the cake. thanks for your help. i think i will be able to do this now.

i have done tons of edible images...and the best thing i can say is, after icing your cake...let it dry a few minutes, then put the icing sheet in the freezer for a few seconds, the place on the cake. the icing sheet peels off really easy and you can handle it better when putting it on the cake. thumbs_up.gif

Thanks Diane.
I'm doing my first one Saturday, and I'm a little nervous.

I got it from the grocery store (winn dixie). I just brought in a copy of the picture I wanted and they printed it up.
I did have to make sure though that the picture didn't have a copyright on it.

Laurie that is really cool. your cake is awesome. i couldn't get my picture to resize so i stuck it in my photos. i check two different grocery stores and they both charged $10.00 for the images here.
