I just had to post that my new Deluxe oven is now installed, and I have made some test cakes with it. They come out so nice, not big crowns and very even. I am still playing with my baking times and have let to test cupcakes (I usually bake them at 400 for 8 minutes then 350 for another 8...will that work with this oven?)

Anyway, I am just so excited!

(and will be nervous when that first electric bill comes!)

I bet your electric bill won't be that much different. You will be able to bake faster and more than before. At least that is my hope for your electric bill!

Today I decided to try cookies..I baked 6 dozen in 15 minutes. They turned out perfect! I am blown away how even this oven is in temp (and because we put it on a stainless table, we could level it perfect too.

OMG it would take me HOURS to bake that many cookies! One tray at a time. I have tried putting two trays in and rotating, and it took longer to bake the cookies and it wasn't a good thing for me. After we get our debt snowball paid off, a convection oven is on the list of wishes.

So jealous! I would love a cake oven, but have to endure with a plain convection oven that is just 1/8" shy of allowing a full sheet cake pan to go in So I do the half sheet and quarter sheet thing. Those are so expensive...kudos for you! Biz must be doing great...keep it up!

I have that oven too! For just over a year now and I really do love it.
