Hi!
If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I'm VERY new to this and I need to make a pound cake but in a full sheet to feed 60 people. The recipe says to put in a tube pan. How many batches of the recipe should I make to fill a full sheet pan?
Thanks[/quote]

Welcome to Cake Central. It depends on how much batter your recipe makes and how big your 'sheet cake' is.

I would fill the sheet cake pan about 1/2 - 2/3 full of water, then pour it into the tube pan- see how many times the tube pan is filled. (assumes it isn't the two-piece angelfood pan, it will leak)

For about 60, I would use a 1/2 sheet which measures about 12 x 18 depending on your pan. 2x2 cuts gives you 54 pieces.

amounts of batter
12" x 18" (half sheet) 13 3/4 cups 38-48 minutes
18" x 24" (full sheet) 22 cups 45-55 minutes

a full sheet is two half sheets (12"x 18"), so it will depend on how big you slice them. here's a chart that shows you the three different ways of doing that.
