My grandmother is turning 100 in August. Does anyone have any good ideas for a cake incorporating the "100"?
The 100 sort of speaks for itself. Here is one I did, a quarter sheet stacked on a half sheet.

Good Luck!
Someone here did a BCT of grandma when she was a younger woman. I bet she would get a kick out of that, seeing her younger self.
If you wanted to be elaborate, you could even do 10 small cakes, each one representing a different era of her life. The 1900's one could be a Edwardian-esque baby cake, the 1910's a child's cake, the 1920's or 30's a wedding cake, and from there you could go by era: old Hollywood, Disco, Space Age, WW2, etc. That would take a while but if you're having a big party it might be fun!
What a blessing to have a grandma around for so long!
Or add photos of when she is younger good times up untill 100 i love the b/w photo all around the sides of cake
Thank you these are great ideas!
SugarFrosted, the 100 cake you did was so pretty!
Thank you so much! You are so sweet!
Doug, I'm a little confused with the pearl idea. Are the pearls sitting on a cake or are they "the" cake?
