Can you share the dimensions you used and how you made the wood pieces? I was planning on making my own baby shower cake and this would be awesome but the demo looked very overwhelming. But so dang cute.
Okay, so this may just embarrass me more than words can say, but here goes -
Is this a cake that one would actually serve? I would think most certainly so, but how would one go about it? Just start taking the pieces apart and putting the cake on a board to cut and serve? I'd feel sick having to dismantle the cradle after all that work, but would you do it in a way as to save the parts to make another cake? Would the fondant tear where the parts were glued to it?
I am such a rookie...thanks for your patience and understanding....
This cake just stops me in my tracks... beautiful is an understatement...
i LOVE YOUR WORK. Can you tell me is there a template for the cradle parts?
I would love to try making this but I have know idea how to know what the dimensions would be for the different parts.
Thankyou for sharing your tutorial! I love you work and this is an amazing piece! I was also wanting to know if there was a template or it you just sketched your design out before cutting it?
This cake is beautiful.. Just love it. But how did you make the chocolate? How think are the pieces and how did you get them to be so smooth on both sides. Can you pass on that information. I believe there are quite a few readers looking for the same answers.
Thank you in advance. This is an over the top cake that I think many readers would love to try.
I would think the dimensions would vary based on the size of the cake you are are making. You could probably create your own template based on the size you need.
This is beautiful, thank you so much for sharing.
