Jerry's Graduation
Another one from the beginning when my husband got his masters. Freehand piping was horrible...and hasn't improved much. This is a red velvet with the old-fashioned icing, which is why the smoothness looks funny. The icing was non-crusting. Top of cap is black Wilton fondant over cake board cut as a square. Scroll is fondant with gold dust on the edges.

Taylor's Birthday Cake
4 layer 10" round yellow with Sugarshack's BC. Ball is made using the Betty Crocker Bake n Fill Pan. Flowers are fondant cutouts with BC centers. This is 1st time I used Sugarshack's BC recipe and technique - smoothest BC I have ever achieved. Inspiration came from several different soccer cakes on this board. Thanks to all of you talented gals.
