A small two tier cake with light pink bottom and brush embroidery. Flowers include candy stripe peony and lisianthus with buds and leaves.
Sugar flowers and feathers on a chocolate and shimmery cobalt fondant. Chocolate cake inside with 4 different fillings- Black Forest, orange, mint and hazelnut praline. Feathers made of sugarpaste and wafer paper.
The white cake is all royal icing piping work. Some Lambeth style, some contemporary. I made panels of royal icing to go around the hexagonal tier. There are some sugarpaste roses and parrot tulips. Along with the cake I made a madeleine tower, two croquembouche towers and some classic cygnes.
