Indiana State Fair Triumph!
In honor of the bicentennial of Indiana, I crafted this three-tier sycamore tree wedding cake with the leaves and fruit of the sycamore tree for competition. After four years of entering wedding cakes, I finally won the non-professional category and then swooped up the Best In Show of all cakes exhibited at the ISF!!!!

3-Tier Baby Shower Cake
This was my very first tiered cake that I made (earlier this year). Needless to say I am SUPER proud of how it turned out. Everything is edible ... yes, including the flowers (and not all of them would fit on the cake). The day lily was hand painted for a more realistic effect. The baby cradle is made out of rice crispy treats. The bottom tier got squished on the way to the venue (curvy road!) and I had to redo one side of the rosettes - just had enough frosting. It was my first real cake (I've done many display cakes) to cover with fondant, as well as doing the fondant skirt draping.
