I was so proud of this cake! It was the first fondant covered cake I've ever made. Final cake for Wilton Course 3. Moist Butter Yellow with a Vanilla Buttercream.
A 6" Red Velvet cake with a Cream Cheese filling & frosting.
First cake we decorated in the Buttercream class. I experimented ahead for the next lesson by attempting ruffles, which didn't work out too well since my BC was starting to heat up from the hot store lighting. But it was very delicious! My favorite Lemon Cake with a homemade Red Raspberry filling!
These were my first two gumpaste and fondant roses I made. Not too bad for being in a hurry towards the end of class! I believe my mom still has these somewhere.
