First time trying fondant decor on buttercream. This recipe is great for cupcakes, but not so much for cakes, unless they are served cold. It was super soft once it came to room temp. Currently looking for a good crusting buttercream! Also, what causes the bubbling up of cake? It was completely flat when it went in the freezer/fridge...
Just made this cake for my first cake customer. I could have spent so much more time on it adding more & more details! I charged her $75. Curious to know what other bakers would charge :-)
