This is a bit of an abstract design, featuring custom colored raindrops and an upside down rainbow. But the sun is rising!!
A sugar fairy (figurines are always a huge challenge for me!!) emerges from a blossom and looks over her kingdom. I loved making these little mushrooms on the side of the tree.
I put the cake on a small pedestal to give it a bit more of a presence. The pale yellow sugar roses, gray and white give it a very elegant appearance.
Elfish writing and a handmade (by the couple) Lego Star Wars cake topper. I love it when the couples just goes with it :-)

It's a 3D Captain Underpants. That's all there is to say :-)
It's a modeling chocolate dinosaur jumping, well more looking, out of a rock. I added some fossils on the rock face by scratching the outline into the fondant, then dusting it with black petal dust.
A bounty of wafer paper flowers adorn this rather simple white wedding cake. I love the white on white look. Do you?
This cake is adorned with a burst of flowers. Sugar tulips, filler flowers and bas relief flowers. Ultimately spring design.
This cymbidium orchid is quite the star on this very simple white wedding cake. Don't you think?
I had so much fun making this cake! It's always an honor to be asked to make a first birthday cake. Bill & Ben are two characters from an English kids show and this cake kind of mirrors one of the main scenes.
decked out in wafer paper plaid, gum paste ruffles and a leaping deer! Happy Holidays, everyone!!!
It's a Christmas Cake and a Birthday Cake all in one! Sharp corners and angles (that, at least, was the plan) and some sugar berries and greenery to soften it up a bit
A bit of a moody cake, inspired by wallpaper. (True fact!) I added some fall sugar leaves to capture the changing of the season. The Satin Ice burgundy fondant was a perfect match.
tiny buttercream wedding cake, adorned with hearts on a string. The bride wanted a small, no fuss wedding cake with a red heart, and that's the design we landed on. I think that might have been the fastest decorated wedding cake ever!
Sweet little mermaid cake, decked out on shades of teal and pink. The tail is made out of rice crispy treats with some royal icing coral.
This is a baby shower cake, full of little 2D critters made out of modeling chocolate a tree and a tent.
A Kentucky Derby inspired cake with wafer paper pinwheels, fondant horseshoes, and many small red roses, for a 3rd Birthday Party
This is a birthday cake for a 52 year old mom and her 25 year old daughter. I wired and taped a 52 and a mirrored 25 out of floral wire and decorated them with some fall colored sugar flowers.
small wedding cake, waiting for the florist's magic!!!
A retirement cake for a gentleman in the navy.
Sweet little all buttercream birchbark cake, with my very own sugar flowers !
