Here’s our contribution to the "Cakes Against Violence ": https://www.facebook.com/cakesagainstviolence collaboration. Our contribution is as a tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks, in Paris, one month ago. Paris being victim of this chaos. That’s why we left the sentence: « In Chaos and Darkness, Light only reveal Hope ». We staged, on the first tier, a black Eiffel Tower on a flowerbed, in the colors of France. Every flower which can remind a victim. A picture of degraded Parisian subway takes place, on the little tier of the cake. For the second Eiffel Tower, this one draped of blue-white-red, the light of hope on this monument was so beautiful. A sober choice, squared, which demonstrates our commitment to not be scared in this terrorific moment. Thanks Bouchra from Sweet Creations Cakes for inviting us and for the organisation. Feliz “Dia de los Muertos”, We’re honored to have been invited, a few month ago ; to participate at the third edition of SUGAR SKULL Bakers. So much amazing creation :O. Here’s our piece, we took inspiration from the so cute Disney trends toys « TSUM TSUM ». A voluntarily childish choice to contrast with the grown-up universe of calaveras. Beyond this visual, we also wished to put in the honor the technique of the food printing. We didn’t take already existing pictures to make our cake, but took time to design on photoshop every portraits with the visual codes of the Mexican « Dia de los Muertos ». Once conceived, we realized them in our favorite technique, the Flat design ;). We chose to keep a sobriety for the rest of elements to emphasize these portraits. The topper,“Dia de los muertos”, in the shape of gravestones and also realized in Flat design, brings a lugubrious and festive touch, perfect for Halloween. Finally, we selected strong symbols of this theme, to frame each of the portraits with, for Mickey a cross, for Minnie a rose and for Pluto … a bone naturally :) :D
This was our contribution to this amazing project. We choose to show, our very own technic of flat design with the cars and the topper. Then we try some different things like powder stencil, defying gravity cake and hand airbrushing. It was a lot of fun to exprimate our creativity on it. Last weekend, we realized live these cookies at the “Art To Play” show in our city. So we choose to make “pixel art” on them with lil sugarpaste square ^^ it take a lot of time to make but the result is awesome. What do you think of this effect ?
This weekend we make a special cake for the 10th birthday of a french toys store """Oxybul" in our city Nantes. We organize a party in a famous Nantes's club "l'Elephant". For the decoration we create a flat design topper that represente 10 and the brand. Then we use silikomart's sugarlace mold candy party that we silvered and little toys decoration ^^. It was a really fun moment !
“Love is in the kitchen garden” in english ;). Here’s our last creation for a collaborator in our city Wedding exhibition. He want something with vegetable and green colors for his stand. So we propose him the alliance of the kitchen garden and the marriage on a cake. What do you think about this original ask ?

Here’s another creation that we make for Creativa exhibition this week in our city Nantes in France, it took again a lot time to glued all the pixel but the result is worth it. We want something special for this cake, like a game that you’ve to recognize all the videogames on it ^^ so who’s the answers ? Another one, it’s not the season lol but hope you “Love” it ;) For this cake we found the inspiration on pinterest and we adopt this really simple outline with all this little hearts and to put it in our touch we create a flat design topper with a handmade glittered font. It take a lot of time to glued all this hearts haha Have a lovely day !

All handmade except square flowers and sugarlace, we used mold. The sugarlace was paint in silver to make it so chic ^^ What do you think?
Hi everyone, we’re presenting you our creation themed for Halloween 2014. We choose to make the cute little Sparky (from Frankenweenie, Tim Burton’s movie) in modeling with a decor in flat design, on a big grey, purple cake. The font is hand-made like all the others elements :). To finish it we model some little pumpkin. Hope you like it? Happy Halloween 2014 to all of you !
Yesterday was the 25th birthday of a friend who want a" gatsby / art deco / prohibition" cake. So we create a topper in art deco style with a gatsby's typo for the age. Then we cut the "prohibition"'s typo and for the double O the $'s symbol (paint in gold) to represent the money of alcohol traffic. To finish a black bow tie to represent class style :) What do you think of this "twenties" cake ?
Hi cakers, here’s our very last wedding cake theme romantic. At first it was in a wonderful place so we can make some cool pictures :) . For the decoration, the couple want something pure with little esperance’s roses and flowers composition, accompagnied by white sugar lace ( a wonder cake by silikomart mold ;) ). For the topper we cut and paint dove who symbolize love with the link between them and use our flat design technic to make stand it on the cake. What do you think?
Here’s our last creation a scuplted pirates boat cake for a 40th birthday last weekend. It took a lot of time to make but we’re very proud of it. Hope you like it ? :)
That was the big challenge of the last weekend, the base tier was 16′×16′ flavor vanilla and caramel au beurre salé and the burger a 8’ flavor strawberry and peanut butter. For the decoration, we personnalise a lot we made his car in flat design (take a lot of time to cut ^^) and the inn sign in flat too with his nickname on it, for the big base tier we use FMM letters to stick personnal words and a road sign for the age.Finnaly it was a lot of work but we’re very proud of it. The funniest thing was the burger for making it so real without aerographe. Who want to munch it ? ;p
Here's one of our last weekend creation for the first birthday of a little boy “Zack”. For this cake we mixed modelling and flat design to create a modern and unique mickey cake.
"Bollywood Palace" Here is our last wedding cake theme Bollywood, a theme we appreciate a lot. It demand a lot of work but it was a pleasure to see the happiness in the eyes of the newly-weds :) The gold sentence in Hindi said “Heureux pour la vie” in french (Happy forever). We use flat design, sugarlace, royal icing. to create our version of bollywood cake.

For our first post on Cake Central, here is our creation for bikers wedding, we called it " Road of Love " to symbolized this engagement ! We created all the designs and cut them at the hand. It was a very long work of cutting but we’re proud of the result.
