Rose Fairy Cake
I've had a heck of a time with figure modeling, and decided it was finally time to learn how to do it. Faces particularly were what gave me fits. So many faces later, I had this sweet little fairy. So I made a cake to set her on. She's done entirely in fondant, and hand modeled, no molds were used. I'm not 100% happy with her arms and legs, but she's miles above my last figures, so all in all I'm very happy with my progress.

Mermaid
This was my first go at figure modeling. My three year old will be 4 in December, and wants a ballerina cake for her birthday, so I figured I needed to practice before then. Once the mermaid was done, she's changed her mind and now wants a mermaid cake. I can definitely see some areas that need improvement, but for my first go I am more then thrilled with how she turned out!

Small Birthday Cake For An 11 Year Old Girl Who Loves Blue And Doesnt Like Things Terribly Girly My First Time Piping Chocolate On The S
Small birthday cake for an 11 year old girl who loves blue, and doesn't like things terribly girly. My first time piping chocolate on the side of the cake, and it was much harder than I thought it would be. I think next time I'll just go with brown royal icing because I can control the consistency a lot better.
