This is my latest cake. I made it for a really close friend who was going to have a baby boy. Her theme was rubber ducky's &i didn't want to make something cheesy & have a lot of ducks on it. So i made this simple 2 tiered fondant cake with a pastel blue and green fondant with polka-dots. The letters are also made of fondant and brushed with pearl dust &decorated with pearls. Loved the outcome.
Really proud of this cake, hours spent making the fondant roses (first time) and leaves. The teacup and saucer is made of fondant and painted with food coloring also. Its a yellow cake with vanilla buttercream. The client loved it when they came to pick it up. It was for her mothers 80th birthday party
