I used the Wilton stand-up Pooh bear pan, but cut the ears off and shaved down the muzzle a little. I created new ears out of Nilla Wafers and re-positioned them further down the head. Cake is banana pound cake with chocolate frosting.
The cake is just an 8" square cake that I cut in thirds, then stacked. Then I just shaped it by hand with a serrated knife. Iced in buttercream, then covered in mmf.
I made this cake for my daughter's first birthday. The icing, clowns and borders are buttercream and the polka-dots are mmf.
One of my first cakes (not including those made in class). Next time I'll center the mound of roses better.
Mini chocolate morsels made the perfect centers for my Black-Eyed Susan cake.
