Hand Painted Fish On The Side Gelalcohol And Lots Of Royal Icing To Keep The Figure In Place Sorry About The Mess In The Background

Hand painted fish on the side (gel/alcohol) and lots of royal icing to keep the figure in place :-) Sorry about the mess in the background. I really should learn how to photograph my cakes.

Really Enjoyed Making This Cake For A Friends Nephew Unfortunately The Brisbane Humidity Got To The Figurine On The Day Of Delivery Even A

Really enjoyed making this cake for a friend's nephew. Unfortunately the Brisbane humidity got to the figurine on the day of delivery even after sitting for over 5 days - but my friend was fortunately ok with it.

Tragedies To Triumphs

Tragedies To Triumphs

I had so many problems with this cake. Top/ bottom tier were vanilla sponge and middle tier was devil's food cake. All the tears had choc ganache under the fondant, and due to cream separating from over-mixing the centres were all milk choc ganache, Fondant sagged and cracked (humidity perhaps?) but yay for decorations and cake pops covering that! Everyone loved it.
