2 tier 4 layer WASC cake with cream cheese filling and buttercream under marshmallow fondant. Characters are hand made from marshmallow fondant with some gum-tex kneaded in to make them harden. Cake topper is fondant covered rice krispy treat and piped buttercream. All decorations are MMF with gum-tex added. Name is fondant/gumpaste cut-outs on wooden skewers. Writing is buttercream.
Sorry for the very unprofessional look and photo, this was a last minute rough idea I threw together for my kids, will do it more fancy next time. I colored individual bowls of cake batter and just scooped different colors randomly into a circle cake pan and baked. I then took the same size (9" spring form pan for easy removal and baked a giant chocolate chip cookie (chewy recipe). I layered them and topped with buttercream and sprinkles. So many ideas on what I can do with this one. Will be posting updates (with better photos) soon!
