Okay....so her Grandma said she wanted a "CRAZY" hello kitty cake for her grand daughter's birthday and for me to go all out....so here was the end result. LOTS of candy... we didn't do any sculpting on this cake....it was just a lot of "craziness"....all geared toward the hello kitty "crazy" look we were going for. Bottom tier is vanilla with bubble gum filling, middle tier is chocolate with carmel marshmellow and the top tier is strawberry with strawberry shortcake filling....with MMF.
This was a chocolate cake with a smores filling and MMF. It's hard to tell from picture....but dress was a light "sparkly" pink...I used a 12 " round for top and cut the body from a 1/2 sheet cake.
A special "safari" first birthday cake.... marble cake with vanilla buttercream. Animals are made from MMF, tree and leaves are made from gumpaste.
Classic white cake with vanilla buttercream, MMF, fondant "angry birds" and gumpaste "tree" and birds nest....everything was edible:)

I LOVE winnie the pooh and with it so hot here I couldn't sculpt the little figurines out of modling chocolate, so here is what I came up with...ordering the little figurines off of ebay.
The graduate wanted a graduation pig.. so here is my take on it. This is 2 of my mixing bowels with baked cakes in them and put together with 2 dowels holding them together....covered in pink MMF and the little pigs were made from modeling chocolate, wilton candy chocolates melted down with corn syrup.
A classic mickey mouse cake....this is a round cake with 2 little round cake ears...MMF fondant cut out in the shape of the face.

This cake was SO fun. Unfortunately I am not talented enough to make all the little animals on top....and it is so hot I worried about them melting. This is a traditional cake covered in MMF and airbrushed.... for the graduate graduating with a degree in animal science

WOW...this cake was a challenge. I should have taken pictures during the process...but I basically looked up on you tube the "process" of the dragon body... made several cakes and pieced it all together. It is covered in MMF and airbrushed. The wings are Gum Paste.
This was a fun wedding cake for me. The bride wanted family photo's on her cake...so the photo's were scanned and printed on edible paper and then placed on the cake.
This cake is for the turtle lover. It is a cake baked in a round pyrex glass bowl, I got the "humps" on the turtle by placing marshmallow treats on top of the cake, it is covered in MMF and then airbrushed.
The little birthday girl loves pink flamingo's and softball. So I created a pink flamingo/softball cake for her. The neck of the flamingo is actually a bent piece of PVC surrounded in pink MMF, the body of the flamingo is 2 round cakes cut in half and a traditional square cake for the bottom
Well we live out here in rural Nebraska where there are a lot of farms. The birthday boy wanted a "farm" cake... so I created a traditional 2 tier cake and all of the little animals are sculpted out of modeling chocolate using melted down wilton candy chocolate wafers and corn syrup.
The bride wanted a mini wedding cake (2 exactly)....to match her color scheme and 250 cupcakes. We ended up making 6 cupcake stands to hold all the cupcakes and created 2 mini wedding cakes for her and the groom.
The bride to be wanted a traditional bridal shower cake with lime green accents. Classic two tier cake, with white MMF.
