Explored boundaries of the paper and created different textures (lace effect, marble effect, crumpled fabric effect) on different layers – a modern twist on the material. Creating rough surfaces with the paper on a smooth surface emphasizes the title. I must say that I have deeply inspired by Maggie Austin’s creations. Love&Unity Imagine walking along the shore in Miami. Under the crimson sunset you come across a BEACH WEDDING. Where the palm trees and the smooth sand act as the stage. Our couple Brandi&Josh are gazing into each others eyes with love, then the ceremony begins. After the wows given, the LOVE & UNITY symbolised, the native American/ Hawaiian SAND CEREMONY begins. Bride and groom take sand from under their feet and pour it into a single container as a symbol of their joined future, celebrating differences and becoming one as a family in UNITY.
