First Gumpaste Rose's
A group of ladies and I attended a class in Kansas City a couple of weeks ago. Rose's and Stargazer Lilies are what we learned. I had so much fun, now I just need a cake to put them on. After the roses's were dry, holding the rose sideways and upside down I airbrushed the color on the yellow base. Thanks for looking.

Fall Festival
Apple Chunk cake with cinnamon butter cream. Pumpkin and gourds are wrapped in fondant. Leaves, worm, rose, stem, roses, mums, and curls. This cake is a demo for a newly formed cake club in Olathe Kansas. I am so excited to host this group of ladies who share my same passion as I do. Thank you for looking!

Hen Party
These are baked in clay pots, made to look like nest. I host a, "Hen Party", every year and serve these when the ladies arrive for the weekend. I made a mold for the hen's and hand paint each one, set some small eggs around and extra cakes can be displayed as bails of straw. A good friend of mine made the stand with the chicken wire behind it. Checkens and eggs are fondant, white cake with raspberry filling, straw is buttercream with a hint of almond.

Lily Kate Baby Shower
This was my first attempt at a topsy turvy cake, not my best cake after a four hour drive. I saw a beautiful cake that I tried to copy from this site. Tasted great and learned a lot. I did not stack these till I got there, but still was a challenge. Most of the ladies thought that the cake ended up looking like this because of the road trip. I had to explain that I meant to do this.....

Anniversary Cake
This cake was for my first show at the Sugar Arts Festival in Tulsa. I wanted to run and hide when I figured out it was a major event, (my neighbor talked me into entering) I had no class's and took first. Thrilling experience and great for boosting ones ego! I still love decorating!
