Basketball Cake (Well Used, Outdoor Leather Ball)
Basketball cake for the basketball team I coached this season. We practiced outside so I wanted to make it look used and dirty. Top half is cake and the bottom half is styrofoam, since I didn't need that much cake and didn't want to figure out how to make a perfect sphere. The board is fondant covered and then painted. One of the dad's at the party thought I had brought a real ball. His wife then mentioned that he isn't easily impressed. It made my night!

Basketball Cake
Basketball cake. The cake itself is a 9X13 in chocolate. The basketball is RKT covered in fondant. I used Fondx Elite Pro Vanilla and tinted it with Americolor terracotta. I then brushed it with brown petal dust. Love the effect I got. It was for my basketball coach from 14 years ago so I wanted the ball to look aged.

We have yet to invest in a nice camera so I had to make do. This was a fun three tier cake to complete. Covered in fondant. I did advise my client that anything with disco dust was inedible and needed to be removed before serving. They were very pleased when they came to pick it up.

A birch wood inspired wedding cake with fresh succulents. Thankfully the succulents had short stems and I was able to put them in a milkshake straw (just smaller than a bubble tea straw) and then insert the straw into the cake. The monogram in the heart was designed by the groom.

Adrian's First Birthday Plane Cake
This cake was for a first birthday. The customer had the cake topper in LA. The customer actually picked it up and drove it over an hour away. I made sure to add extra dowels. Since the topper was in LA, I provided some royal icing so they could attach it. I haven't received a picture with the topper yet.
