7" gluten free dark chocolate mud cake with dark chocolate ganache. The base layer is a 9" dummy cake covered in fondant as is the 'Death Star'. The four lego figurines are handmade in gum paste as is the name in Star Wars font, however the Star Wars logo itself is made with a cutter.
Tall 6" white chocolate gluten free mud cake with white chocolate ganache
This is Dave the Minion - my son's favourite Despicable Me character. It also had to be gluten free as my daughter is Coeliac. This is a white chocolate mud cake made up of 2 x 6" rounds plus a 6" hemisphere, torted and ganached with white chocolate. The feet are bolted into the cake board with a small piece of wood below which sits in and on a 12 " styrofoam cake dummy. A 5" cake board is at the top of the legs and supports the cake with a 6" board midway to support the upper layers. The goggles and other features are all fondant . The cake board is covered in navy fondant with a metal effect pattern and sprayed silver for a metallic look (just like in Minion Rush!).
7th birthday - two tier (6" top tier decorative only) owl cake with ruffles. The 8" bottom tier is a gluten free chocolate cake with fresh banana and dark chocolate ganache.
