This was more of an excuse to try different tools and techniques. It was a darn tasty cake though. I torted two 6" dark chocolate cakes and filled them with Chambord raspberry filling. I left the top layer domed. I think the intent of this cake was to create a basket of flowers. I would have needed a lot more flowers to achieve that though.

Dream-Catcher Birthday Cake

Dream-catcher birthday cake for my daughter-in-law-to-be. The feathers ended up being too delicate and I had to replace broken ones a couple times. I like the way this one turned out.

Sweet 16 Birthday Cake

My first topsy-turvy cake. I had to transport the pieces in an 8 hour car ride, then assemble the cake on site. The fondant didn't fare too well with all the vibration from the car.
