This week's cake was for my brother who turned the big 4-0! So naturally it's the perfect time to try out a design I've had my eye on! I love how it turned it - and I'm pretty sure my brother did too! The bottle is made of fondant, and the label is an edible image and toasted coconut for the 'wood chips'.

Simply Vintage Wedding Cake
I had the privilege of making this wedding cake this weekend, and am very pleased with how it turned out! All roses were hand made from gumpaste. 10", 8", 6", all 3 are tiers are lemon cake, with a layer of lemon buttercream, a layer of lemon filling, and iced in vanilla buttercream.
