This is my first ever two tier cake and my first ever chocolate wrap cake. It started out as a complete disaster as I made my own modelling chocolate and it all seemed to go wrong from there. Thanks to the lovely and helpful posters in the cake disaster section I decided to take all the chocolate off the cake and start again and ended up with the cake pictured, which I am fairly happy with. Thank goodness for this forum!
Chocolate sponge filled and coated with chocolate ganache and covered with chocolate fondant. Decorated with ribbon and gumpaste flowers. (first go using gumpaste)
